001 Death Notices 00 1 Death Noticft Nov. 15. 177-1) PREVIOUS DEATHS LATEST DEATHS Weather Partly sunny and warmer with a chance of 4,300 Acres Involved Texas Firm Eyes Coal Mines Here Adobe Oil and Gas Corp. of Midland, is entering the coal mining business at two undisclosed sites in Western' Pennsylvania. The southwestern energy firm-which engages in oil and gas exploration announced yesterday that it has signed a letter of intent with a group of individuals to acquire two coal mining companies Involving about 4,300 acres of coal leases here for cash and stock.

A spokesman for the firm said Adobe will merge the two coal mining firms into a new subsidiary for 320,000 shares of a new cumulative preferred Adobe stock which is convertible on a share-for-share basis into Adobe common. The spokesman refused to disclose the sites or other details Involving the tranaction. "I just am not liberty to disclose anything about the venture at this time the spokesman said.
