For years, she had anticipated this day. dreamed of it, wondered about it. prayed for it. And now it was here. Mrs.

tieien Roth, 45. a native of Yugoslavia, was going to become a citizen of the United States. At least, she was hopeful It would be so. Arrives at Bureau Oh. sure, for' years like most of the immigrants who came to America in the early part of the century she hadn't given it a sen ous thought.

But for the past five years, ever since she had applied for her first naturalization papers, Mrs. Roth had prepared and studied for the occasion. Yesterday, she rode to the down town from her home at 1736 Over- beck North Side, and stepped into an elevator in the Federal Bldg. Seventh floor. That was it.

The Bureau of Immigration and Natur alization. And now she was sitting before Examiner Carl Starliter, answering questions. Oh, this was much easier than she had thought. Her answers came freely, naturally correctly. You have passed your final exam ination," Mr.

Starliter said finally. "You may come back in a short while and be sworn in as an Ameri can Has Heart Attack "Thank you," Mrs. Roth whis pered. Then she collapsed in her chair. Deputy coroners said it was a heart attack.

For 10 years before Overbrook became a part of the city. Mr. Zeiler was Chief of Police in Overbrook. He has since been attached to the South Side police station and assigned to the Overbrook district. Surviving are 13 children, six sons and seven daughters.

They are Roy. Irvin. Robert, Charles. Herbert and Bernard Zeiler and Mrs. Paul Englert, Mrs.

John Surmick, Mrs. Howard Wazenegger, Mrs. Herbert Biddle, Laura. Edith and Stella Zeiler. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.

Bond, founder ef the Toy Mission of Pittsburgh, died Friday at her home, 14 Union Crafton. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Williams.

Mrs. Bond was born March 7, 1871, in Allegheny, now the North Side. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Crafton, and a member of the Women's Club of Crafton. Survivors are her two sons, Reid W. Bond, a vice president of the Shell Oil Co.

in Tulsa, and George L. Bond Jr. of Brookside Farms, who is affiliated with the public relations bureau of the Jones Laughlin Steel a daughter. Mrs. W.

F. Waddell of Crafton; a brother, Benjamin Morgan Williams of Wilkinsburg; two sisters, Mrs. A. Kiefer of Philadelphia and Miss Ada G. Williams of Craf ton, and five grandchildren.

Although she has successfully passed her solo tests, Betty must wait until she is 18 before she can become a licensed pilot.
