Over 1,400 people participated in last year's event.

This year, The Great Ride has been moved to Three Rivers Stadium and expanded to include a full day of activites starting at 7:00 A.M. in the parking lot. Last year's popular, six-mile ride for all ages has been renamed "The Family Ride" and follows a relatively level course around the stadium. It's not a race, just lots of fun for the whole family. Children ages 4-10 can compete in The Big Wheel Obstacle Course.

There will be hot air balloon rides, tour group rides, events for professional cyclists, an outdoor concert and music by Y97 FM. Participants get a free Great Ride T-shirt and a hot dog and soft drink, compliments of The Press. Register by mail using the attached coupon and pay only $2.
