HOG ON A RAMPAGE. IT BREAKS A WAV FROM A DROVE A visit to any one of the points from which the new germicide, "Hyotnel," was distributed yesterday, would have shown that the public in general have, at last, been aroused to the' danger which lurks in every house, store, factory or street car frequented by sufferer from catarrh and consumption; and while many expressed their doubts as to the new germfcide being a positive cure of the above mentioned diseases, all were ready to admit that almost every case of catarrh and consumption starts with a common cold; the same belnc neglected until the air passages become inflamed and in condition to receive th-s bacilli of these dangerous diseases, which are always to be found floating in the air we breathe. A careful estimation taken from the number of people who called for Hyomei proves that, at least, two hundred and fifty-one thousand persons in Pittsburg and Allegheny alone are to-day suffering from catarrh or consumption, and as these diseases are both infectious, some little Idea can he formed as to thu necessity of every man, woman and child In this city using every precaution to protect themselves against these diseases. The fact that the number of persona afflicted is constantly Increasing Is evidence, Indisputable, that no cure has heretofore been found. "Hyomei" Is not a patent medicine, or a preparation used by quack and catarrh specialists; but the only advertised cure for coughs, colds, catarrh and consumption ever endorsed by the medical profession. It Is the only treatment that carries a written guarantee to return the money in case of failure to cure. "Hyomei" Is the only Dry Air Germicide known. Theso are truths which cannot be disputed, and it would seem that' on "Hyomei," alone, must the people depend for relief from catarrh, bronchitis, pneumonia and consumption. Knowing this, and being assured that If a cure Is not made their money Is refunded, it Is nothing more or less than a crime for anyone to refuse the protection given by this New Dry Air Germicide.

Concerning Col. Hawkins and the Tenth Pennsylvania regiment, it says: "When the alarm was given on the night of February 4, Col. Hawkins, commanding the Tenth Pennsylvania Infantry, moved out four companies from their city barracks to support his outposts.

During the night the enemy made two advances In considerable force, but were easily checked by the skirmishers. At dawn they made another and more determined advance, which was also checked bv the outposts. After daylight Col. llawklns advanced his entire line rapidly forward. He was met with heavy volley firing, but when within 200 yards of the Insurgent line the enemy made a precipitate retreat.

"Near the hospital MaJ. Blerer, commanding the Pennsylvania left, was wounded and compeleled to retire. MaJ. Bell, of the engineer corps, reported to Col. Hawkins, and was assigned to command the left wing.

The line continued to advance, and, by a brilliant charge, swept the enemy from their position. Soon after the regiment, together with a detachment of the First Montana and First South Dakota, under Col. Frost, was moved In nn easterly direction. A new line was established, promptly Intrenched and was still held at the date of the report." Gen. Otis also speaks In glowing terms of the M.ntana.
